This is awesome, I'm going to Cedar Point on next saturday, the 28th and will be staying overnight. It's been almost three years since the last time I visit the park. Hopefully that day, the new ride, Top Thrill Dragster will be in full operation.

Anyone has a tip or advice for me on the park itself, the city and the beach? TIA.

Top Thrill Dragster is now no thrill dragster. Hasn't worked more than 5 out of the past 30 days. It hasn't moved since last Saturday. They are having major problems with the lauch motor.

You should wait till later in the season to see if they have the bugs worked out of it. It has broken down so much that they update the webpage everyday to tell you if its running or not.

Are you staying at a CP resort? If you are you can get into the park an hour early and they will have a couple coasters open. I was there in May and they had Millenium Force and Mantis open early. Nothing like front row and a mouth full of bugs. You can get in a couple of rides on each before the general public gets in. If TTD is working then they might also have that one open.

Also, don't forget that at 11:00 am they start to give freeway passes out. You can get up to 2. You go up to the ride and get a stamp on your hand and it will give you an hour window. You will get to use the freeway and walk to within a 10-20 minute wait at the most. This is great to beat out the 1-2 hour lines that should be in full effect by the end of June.

I'll be staying at Hotel Breakers and really looking forward for that 1 hour early entrance.
What is freeway? I guess I can check it out online .. I'll be there with my gf and three other friends, two girls and one guy. Definitely will take pics and spend some times on the beach.
I guess, with freeway and that 1 hour early entrance, I could wrap up the whole park in a day right?
