I want to listen to the baseball in my car...but I don't really want to pay some of the ridiculous prices for the hardware on top of the subscription fee.

I'm looking for a.) your thoughts on XM

and b.) A good place to pick up a car + home kit for around fiddy bucks.

It came preinstalled in my dad's SLK320, I've been in car listening to it, coverage is kind of spotty, especially around tall buildings. I wouldn't pay for it if it was up to me.

My thoughts on XM are that they will now be SiriusXM, the gov just gave ok to the buyout.
