YAWTT (Yet Another Wisdom Tooth Thread)

Went in, took the panoramic X-ray, had the doctor explain to me the procedure and I asked a few questions. Then he went to work. Both of my teeth were impacted so he had to cut away the gum, break the tooth, and remove them in pieces. Took about 15 minutes for each side. Afterwards, I asked to see what's left of my tooth, and there were about 8 fragments lying around on the platter. The lidocaine injections are starting wearing off, and I'm on Vidocin now! That's some good sh*t. 😀

So far, hardly any swelling. Oh, and I choose an oral surgeon by the way. $1200 after it's all said and done. Thank goodness for insurance.

Got all four of mine pulled last summer. Novocaine only, no nitrous or nothing. Some anti-inflammatories afterwards (and later an antibiotic) and I was good to go. 🙂
