So my main is a lvl 60 Druid on Shattered Hand server. I have all of my Wildheart set. I have my epic mount. I have just about every flask you can make in Alchemy. I have done Scholo/Strat/UBRS/LBRS/BRD/DM about 30-45times each. I pvp very little but I am starting to collect more pvp gear. I have a tanking armor set which in bear form i have 8000armor and around 5000health.

Now its time for end game content. I have started doing MC runs and we (guild) have killed just the first 2 bosses. Lucifron and Magamador (spelling) and have another run this sunday.

Killed Onyxia on our second attempt.

Does blizzard really just want us to farm these two instances until we all have our epic sets?
PVP is fun and you can get an epic set from that as well but it is also a hunt for lots of HK.

So my take for end game is that if you are a casual gamer= MC and Onyxia 3times a week
Hardcore nonstop gamer=PVP for epic gear since you have to maintain rank to wear it.

I havn't tried the Battlegrounds test server yet and maybe that is where I will stay.

Does anyone know of any Expansion pack that might come out for WoW?

And one last question I have a Gnome Mage alt that is lvl 12. I think my build is going to be 31arcane and 20ice. Any thoughts? Should I go straight fire and arcane till i get to another level?

blah how the fvck can you stand it? 30-45times each? christ

We did black rock depths 4 times maybe, partially each time and ubrs once. All the other instances mostly once sometimes two or three times. Started alts til lvl 29 and that was enough, quittin time.

We may be back to experience it all again from scratch and to try bgs out.

Yeah and I have the Seal of Ascension key made on my main. That was the longest quest in the game. Along with the Onyxia chain of quests. Those 2 just might be the longest. They are also the most entertaining towards the end of them.

how many hours of play time did it take you to make it to this level? is there anyway to check that in the game? i'm at 15 and it keeps getting harder to increase, so i probably won't have to worry about this for awhile.

/played

is the trigger for seeing how much you played.

to make it to this level i think i played 480hours approximately.
My /played is currently at 750hours.

I have convinced myself to quit playing wow altogether when my /played is 1000hours.

But I mean think about what that time could have been filled with? I have a high stress job, I am getting my Master's Degree, I have a future wife. So my time is pretty much capped. So instead of watching TV or partying to relieve stress... I play WoW and I scuba.

you can check in-game play time with '/played'

level 60 takes around 9-15 days of /played time

My main is level 52 and I plan on doing most if not all the end game instances. When I get bored I'm going to create an alt as start all over again.

I really enjoy being a guild master and might even spend a lot of time in Battlegrounds making a name for myself.

molten core is a hot instance. DM has awesome epic drops, i don't think there will be an expansion, just a ton up patch updates.

they need to make more instances for L60s

I don't know if I'll ever pvp. It's hard to pvp as a mage, as soon as they see a mage everybody goes into a mad dash after me, killing me within seconds.

in the unlikely event that I ever get all my characters up to 60 (I have two... a rogue that I use mostly for solo'ing and a priest that I only play with my roommate's character), I figured I'd do PvP with my rogue, instances with my priest, and I'd start a new horde character.

having never played horde, it's like there's still this huge part of the game that I've never experienced.

I have a 60 druid as well....have only been into MC once, but our guild just merged with a much larger guild, so I suspect we'll be going there more often now....have not been to Onxyia's place yet.....

minimal PVP, but I do like the Battlegrounds...

The patch after the upcoming battlegrounds patch will include a new high-level instance called "Blackwing Lair" - rumor has it that this is a tougher place than MC...but we'll see about that..

There WILL be an expansion pack for WoW - I would guess it will have something to do with Northrend, where Arthas is supposed to be, and I'm guessing he'll be the ultimate boss the game has...but the Blizzard guys at E3 were quick to point out that is a WAYS off, that they have content lined up for 10+ patches past the battlegrounds patch....so it will be a while..

I'm working on an alt, even though I said to myself I wasn't going to ....a Rogue, up to lvl 23 now...not very high on blacksmithing though, may pick up alchemy or enchanting instead...

Yea pvp is tough as a mage especially if you don't get backup. However, w/ friends on a voice server....you have no idea the destruction and desecreation I have unleashed w/ my mage.

I got very tired of the end-game content as well. You find yourself going through molten lava, molten dungeons, fighting molten elemental bosses, FAR too often. When Dire Maul was put in the game, that added some good times for my guild, but after a couple weeks, its back to the same thing. After you have gone through MC/Onyxia completely, there is nothing left but the zerg PvP system. I hope they can get some new PvE content out quickly. :)
