I love your posts, but you need to start posting in pounds
😉
On the incline and decline I only did 225 for 10 reps.
Thanks. 150kg ~ 330lbs.
Your 1RM is at least 330lbs. But more about 340-350lbs imo. That is a crazy BP for a non PL!
I'll hopefully nail 330lbs one day. Repping at 220lbs imo is also pretty good. My BP isin't great but alright.

To give credit where credit is due, much of it goes to my trainer. I did the work, but he helped in laying the groundwork for an unusual workout we did Jan-May 3 days a week full body workout.
Bit of an odd workout. Pick 3 exercises for your main body parts.
Chest
shoulders
lats
mid back
biceps
triceps
traps
quads
hams
calves
3 days a week M-W-F full body workout using 1 of each of the 3 exercises you pick for each body part. For instance for chest you pick flat bench, incline bench, cable flies. M=Flat bench W=Incline bench F= cable flies.
You do a warm-up set 12 reps at about 40% of your workout weight, rest a minute then 1 set at your workout weight. The catch is on the second set you are going for high reps, aiming for total failure at about 18-20 reps. If you hit 20 reps on a workout, the next week you would add weight. Your body adapts quicker than you might think to high reps. At first it is horribly difficult, you are so used to stopping at 10, but after about 12 you seem to get a second wind to help you get a few more pumped out.
During that time, Jan-May while I didnt gain much in the way of visible muscle mass, I gained huge amounts of strength.
During those 5 months my bench press went up about 40 pounds, leg press went up 300 pounds. Of course a lot of those gains were my body adapting to the high reps, but there was also huge strength gains. On our last night on leg presses I did 900 pounds (10 45lb plates on each side) for 19 reps.
Those strength gains will do me well now that we are back on a bulking routing for a few months, before we switch to a cutting routine to get me looking good for a beach vacation.

Oh the punishment we go through just to look good.
