YAWT: people need to learn more about their wireless networks

workins/studying at the neighborhood coffee shop(coffee bean in los angeles on santa monica/beverly glen) when all of a sudden my laptop gives me a jingle that there I have connected to a wireless network. now, i am not a hacker or anything like that, but these people that have wireless networks need to know some things:

1. change the router ip address
2. change the router password
3. enable WAP

this is ridiculous, i have three wireless networks around me that i can connect to (I have connected to one to post this) and it can be dangerous.

linksys, siemens, netgear need to do something about this problem that they have caused.
