It's the shoulder pads on the standing calf raise or hack squat. Guaranteed.

Happens to me when I squat 300 lbs or calf raise 400. The veins on your shoulder get ruptured from supporting all that weight. They usually go away after a day or two.

Agreed. At my gym at work, we have a leg press machine that did something similar to my shoulder. It's the type where you lay down and brace your shoulders against some padding, and push against a static plate, and slide your body backwards, pushing the weight up. It put a similar looking welt on my left shoulder that lasted for a couple of days.

It doesnt hurt, and it doesnt bleed out and it goes away in like two days but this has been happening to me since i started working out and i have no idea why. Does it happen to anyone else?

This happens all the time when you do calf raises - the pads put pressure on your skin and squish the cells. It goes away in a couple of days.
