I've been having a rough time since I hit 60 figuring out what to do with my toon...

This is my first lvl 60, so I don't really know what a shaman end game is about so I don't really know how to spec my character. Right now I have about 25 points in Restoration and 26 in enhancement. Natures swiftness has been awesome to me, so I kind of want to hang onto that, but I don't really want to be a healer entirely... if I wanted that I would have created a priest.

So...

Is there anything I should do differently to make my Character better? I've found that most characters are better when they're all spec'd in one category.

Good question. I also have a shaman that I will respec.

Right now I'm elemental, and I think I will stay that way. The totem of wrath at the end of the elemental tree gives all party members in range a 3% increased chance to hit and crit with spells. This may make elemental Shaman's desirable for raids.

Pretty much, as a Shaman, you'll want to be enhancement unless you have the gear for elemental. I've ran into quite a few undergeared elemental shamans (and beat the crap out of them) and they're usually the ones that complain that their class is gimped :p.

I'd recommend staying with a similar build like what you have. Nature's Swiftness is helpful in PVE and PVP for those quick but necessary heals. Because of that, I can see even the most feral of all feral druids going for Nature's Swiftness over Mangle.

Also, we've been discussing some talents in the other WoW thread.

Prior to these new talents, I'd totally agree (I'm a geared elemental shaman ^_^). But things are different now... The resto tree looks like it might not suck huge wang anymore, and elemental, regardless of gear, is getting bent over and worked prison-style in the expansion. Enhancement looks like where it's at, unless you only raid and love healing.

That's what Elemental always got when it went up against my rogue ^_^. I remember beating one of the top-geared elemental shamans on the server in about 5 seconds on my rogue. Accidently killed him after the duel too :(. Unfortunately for me, I don't think I've ever crit that much ever again. I'm the kind of unlucky player that could have 99% crit and still get a non-crit move to go off.

i play a shaman with a group of friends, who are also shaman. we're all lvl 29 twinked shamans and really only play the BGs.

we are all specced the same and pretty much have all the same gear. kinda funny.

anyway, we're all enhancement: current spec

I'm wondering if getting rid of flurry and anticipation and putting it into convection and concussion would be better for pvp?

Elemental>Enhancement for PVP. Seriously, if you have decent gear, Elemental is better for PVP because of all the huge amounts of burst damage you can do. I'm going to stay elemental for now.

Any suggestions for Warrior? I'm on a PvP server, but I don't do much PvP fighting our Battlegrounds.

Well, I'd say it depends on what you want to do. If you just want to do some fun soloing and junk, just go 31/20 Mortal Strike/Enrage (that's what my warrior is now). If you want to be a quasi-tank, use this build:

When my warrior hit's 70, I think I'm going to spec 40/21... something about Mortal Strike and Death Wish puts a smile on my face ;). Does anyone else think the 41-point talents for warriors absolutely suck? I mean, Endless Rage looks alright, but it's nothing special...

Quasi-tank specializing in 2 handed swords?

Yeah, it's a "quasi-tank" because you don't always tank. That build works extremely well and when I used to raid; that's the build most of the tanks used. It provides the ability to still perform well in raid-level PVE as well as solo PVE (although losing enrage makes solo PVE a bit worse) as well as PVP

Well... I can get by not having elemental then I guess... because I don't do much PvP and when I do, my HK's come from my totems. I guess it's all gear that needs to be tweaked. I guess it seems like where I'm at is where I should be for the most part. Either that... or I should be entirely elemental is the overall consensus that I'm getting here... agree/disagree?

Edit: I don't do as much PvP as I do raiding with my guild, once I get the gear, then I'll go for PvP...

Shrug, for now just enjoy yourself... the game will be changing so drastically when the expansion comes out, and we'll have to figure it out all over again... But yes, for now (prior to this patch, at least) PvP, PvP/PvE and even solo/5man or dps PvE is 30/0/20, 20/30/0 or 0/30/20, no ifs ands or buts for shamans. The only reason to spec resto has been to have zero interest in the game outside of raiding/healing. Indeed, part of the draw of a build capable of dps has been our awful resto tree - we can heal almost as well without it, if we have the +healing/int/mana5 gear and the healing mentality. Not sure how the new resto tree will pan out though, it may be worth speccing unless you love PvP.

I'm a rogue and need imp sap but also want some pretty good dps. Any ideas? I currently have assassination blade/hanzo so I don't want to spec out of combat swords if possible.

Just be one of them evil Hemo rogues :p The DPS isn't as great as you'd see with combat, but combat/sub is just such a ... mediocre build, that you either spec further into sub or you just don't at all.

Also, what is your main goal with this build... PVP, PVE or both?
