Myoplex or Myoplex light. These shakes are so good I actually enjoy them very much. I don't consider these to be a sacrifice. I actually prefer Myoplex shakes over most anything.

THIS is what I drink. The directions state to mix the contents with 15 oz. water in a blender. I have found the best combo to be 14 oz. water and 6 oz. ice. It comes out perfect that way with the approximate consistancy of a McDonalds shake, but tastier and much better for you. :)

Edit: If you shop around, it's much cheaper than the price in that link. A good deal is ~$1.80 per packet.

Lowfat Cottage Chesse. Very filling, and it's practically all protein. Add some cinnamon and splenda/sweetener to make it kinda dessert-like. Or if u mix with sugar-free Jell-O it's kinda like a broke-ass ambrosia salad.

And iceberg lettuce has zero nutritional value. It contains water. That's pretty much it.

Eat whole foods.

What does that mean?

It means eating something that has not been overly processed. Things like white bread take the component of it that contains calories and removes the other parts that contain nutrients and fiber and slow down the release of it (ie keeps you full longer.)

Processed carbs are absorbed by your body immediately, and your body stores the excess energy as body fat.

Don't eat:

Juice
Soda
Any liquid that isn't water or tea or coffee
white flour products
processed carbs in general

Here's a list of things that I eat in a day (not everything in one day) to give you an idea:

Drinks: Always Water. Exception is green tea when I need caffeine. Green tea also has many health benefits.

Breakfast:

Multi-grain cheerios or cinnamon toast crunch with 2% milk

Lunch Period:

Peanut Butter Sandwich with Arnod 12 grain bread.
Carrot sticks
grapes
yogurt (yoplait is extremely delicious but high in sugar)
Self Made Smoothie: Yogurt, banana, strawberries, blueberries, a little orange juice.
walnuts
peanuts
almonds
pistachios

Dinner:
1. Chicken Sandwiches with the Arnold bread and baked chicken that you get from grocery store delis. Sometimes I'll put on teriyaki sauce and sweet onion sauce. Sometimes barbque.
2. Whole Wheat Spahetti with prego and lean beef. Kind of high on carbs, but oh well.
3. Vegetable saute: Spinach, brocoli, garlic, red onions, sweet onions, green bell peppers, crushed red pepper, pepperoni or ham, cheese and prego. I usually have to eat something else because this only has like 500 calories.
4. Whole grain rice, baked chicken, bush's baked beans, brocoli/spinach, sweet potato.
5. Wild salmon

I think cottage cheese is disgusting, I don't know how anyone could find it appetizing.

Ever tried it? :)

Some people just don't like it. But I think more people just are afraid to try it because they think it looks gross. I never tried it until a few years ago and now I love the stuff.

Grilled chicken breast. It's lean and mean and full of protein.

Read 'Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle' by Tom Venuto, or go to the website and download the free .pdf files (don't remember exactly what they were about). This is some really good sh!t he's written and transforms average physiques into cut-up wonderpeople in a matter of months! It also turns fat-asses into cut-up wonderpeople in less than a year (granted you're not REALLY fat...might take 18 months)!

And fairly cheap too. I spend between $35-$40 a week, and this is a pretty health diet.

It generally works for anyone too. If you're doing weight training like I am now, just add whey protein and more chicken.

I'm always trying to improve it. I just starting eating salmon, but I really need to find out if canned wild salmon is clean.
