Yes I've been using my googlefu and found many discussions but just wondering if anyone might have a fix that isn't out there. So my friend wanted Windows 8 on her laptop which is a Core i5/IntelHD3k Dell Inspiron 14z it runs 7 beautifully but Windows 8 has been flickering the screen randomly and after about two hours of operation corrupts the screen until a reboot. It has never done this with 7... tried different drivers, no drivers, messing with power options, custom resolution/refresh... any ideas?
 
Thank you for your suggestion! Forgot about Dell's own website, I'm so used to going to component manufacturers LOL. Anyhow, unfortunately it still flickers, I'm testing to see if it flickers without any of Intels drivers installed.
