Okay, so i figured it was about time to get in shape, and what a perfect opportunity than needing 2.5 more units of college credit. So i've added three strength development classes....

Two on Monday/Wednesday, and another one on Tuesday/Thursdays.....am i doing way to much??
I want to get toned, not BUFF, and want to try and be "quicker", move faster for sports and such
i'm not completely out of shape, i'm slowly changing my diet, it's hard, but i'm doing it

i'm 6'1, around 170 lbs.....how do i best utilize my time in the weigh room?

Are all of these classes all the same? Like they tell you what exercises you'll be doing? Working the same body part twice in one day(Mon/Wed) would be way too much. If all three of your classes involve doing the same exercises, you only need one class, imo. This is how I'm looking at your situation...Let's say for a Mon class, you do upper body, and Wed, you do lower body(or something like that). Tue/Thurs go the same way. So for Mon and Tues, you do the same workout. Wed/Thurs, same workout, two days in a row. It's way too much and counterproductive.

Really, the only point to taking a gym class is to learn your way around the weights(which is a good thing). Learn from the class, do some reading, and you can figure out a regimen that fits your needs.

like i said, i needed the extra credits, and this was one of the few classes that fit into my schedule......help me work with what i've got!
