- Pulled my girl out of class today to take her on a surprize "fantistic voyage."
- Watched a movie she was dying to watch (mateine) - 12 bucks
- Huge Lunch at resturant overlooking the bay (saving me the trouble of dealing with the crowds and the outrageous pricing for V-tines dinner... dinner would have been 45-60 per person!!!) - 50 bucks
- Cruising around the Bay Area on a bright, warm day in the winter - (Gas + mileage on car, probably about 12 bucks)
- Great Valentine Experience (Priceless)

I'm at my office now, catching up on the work i missed out on today. I'll be done in 2 hours giving her time to run to victoria secret to reflect on what a great boyfriend I am

Yes. I win.

Me, FTW

Well executed. That's good thinking doing everything during the day to beat the crowd and save some $$$.

You can't beat my Vday,

Father in law gets his prostate removed due to cancer.
Bombed my midterm.
Grandmother has heart attack and is currently in hospital.

I did get my wife a heart pendant with 3 diamonds in it and she loved it. We will be celebrating Vday this Saturday.

Happy Vday everyone!

Sounds good.

As for me...

I finished wrapping two of the presents (Alloy jeans and a Vegetarian cookbook) and arranged them with the other two I got today (big stuffed animal dog I posed holding a single rose). I also made a custom card with a love poem I wrote, printed and placed it with the stuff. Then I lovingly cooked a tasty meal for her and set the table (/w candles!). Waiting for her to come home from her meeting at church (new members class, she's mentoring someone).

It's not me doing all the work though, she got me some gifts, made a small cake, and has some certain garments to wear tonight.

A year ago if I read someone else say the above I would've just gotten more pissed off...
