YAV(asetomy)T - Does it cause a behavior change?

After 3 successful bull's eye, it's time to put away the live bullets. My wife is concerned that if I get this done, I'd change my personality. I told her it could be good as I could become a nicer person :). She said her dad became short tempered after he had it done. I haven't find anything that support any sort of behavior change. My doc during consultation sure didn't say anything on this. My co-worker just said he became more active after he had it done knowing that he can fire blanks anytime without worrying about the consequence.
Does the ATOT crowd have any input on real life instances out there? This is more for the older crowd that have had specific experience.

Maybe he was short tempered because he got neutred. The other dudes did it by choice, maybe her dad had no choice?

There is no cause for concern. It did not cause any change in my behaviour, except as you noted that I was no longer concerned about accidental impregnation.

you aren't getting neutered. clipping the vas deferens won't affect your hormones at all.

sounds like maybe she is looking for an excuse for you not to have it done?

He might have been short tempered because everything ached down there, or because he couldn't use his special critter for a few days.

I know this is starting out VERY wrong, but:

My mom may have done something similar - when I was planning on buying a red car. She said that insurance rates for red cars are higher because, since they're the color of blood, they incite anger and road rage.
I don't know if red was my first choice, but it was the kind of car I wanted, in that it was in my price range, was rebuilt by a good place, and had features I wanted. It also happened to be red.
According to a quick Google search, I should have bought either a blue or gray car to match my personality.

Nope,no change in my behavior. Had it done two years ago. Initially you are thinking " I hope that the doc got it right!" but after the samples you provide the doctor show you are shooting blanks, it eases the nervousness.

Edit: I am 42 with a 5 year old and a 2 year old.

Peace

I've also been thinking about having the procedure done. For those of you that have gotten it done, what sort of disconfort did you experience? And what things did you do to make it more confortable?

No change in anything here. In fact, I'm a bit hornier because there's to consequences for making a deposit now :)

Yes, it will change your behavior. You will no longer have an urge to pee on the carpet in the living room.

Make sure you make the doctors sign something that says they can't take your balls out, even if its infected with 1000 tumors. You won't want to wake up neutered.
