YAUT: Damn you UPS

So I ordered a bunch of parts from Newegg with 3 day UPS shipping. It was split into two packages, one shipping the 26th with misc parts, the other with the case shipping the 27th. So go figure that the one that shipped the latest will arrive tomorrow, and the one shipped the earliest (26th) won't arrive until....Monday.

And go figure that I could have easily done without the case, and the other box would be really useful to have tomorrow.


Damn you UPS.

when i was in college this guy in my hall had a map of one of his UPS packages that he ordered and all of its stopps. it went clear across the country back and forth 2.5 times and from south to north once (something retarded like 8,000 miles or something) before it arrived. lol, it was hilarious.

Wow, I was about to start a YAUT.

I expected my package to show up today, and it did, but not to me. Online tracking shows it being delivered to a "Smith", I don't know any Smith. I had to call and wait on hold to be told by some guy in India that it was indeed delivered to me, that the driver never bothered with the little paper attempt sheets, and instead handed it off to the first person walking through the apartment door. They saw the TigerDirect logo on the side and the words "Computer Deals" and obviously had no problems taking it and signing a fake name. Best part was the operator didn't seem to think that handing a package to random people just to get it "delivered" was a problem.

So much for three day shipping being three day shipping.

i recently order a scanner and dvd-rs from newegg. the dvd-r were supposed to arrive in 3 days the scanner in 2. they lost the freaking scanner and i got it a month later.

i love newegg cuz they even refunded my shipping and sent me a new scanner. i hate UPS too.
