YATT (yet another travel thread) Will I get bored with a cruise to the Caribbean??

We(my man and I) were thinking about taking a cruise some time next summer, but we are limited to just a few months in the summer.
I am thinking about sticking with either Princess or Celebrity cruise lines. The only problem is the fact that really, the only places we would even consider going have limited sail dates.

I think it would be nice to go to the Caribbean, but we are both worried if we are going to be bored with the ports of call!
Also, is it better in the Eastern or Western Caribbean?? The main concern i have is I am afraid this will be a let down after traveling to Hawaii earlier this year!

So, cliff notes: Is the Caribbean a good vacation desintation??

Thanks!

My ex-wife and I honeymooned on a Royal Caribbean 7-day western Caribbean cruise. Other than being with her I had a great time and the trip was not boring. Although if you're one of those people who don't know how to do nothing, that is just relax and chill, you might find yourself bored from time to time -- unless you can afford all the excursions.

Ive been on 6 Royal Carribean cruises to the carribean (Western & Eastern) and had a great time on both itineraies....

Western would be good if youve never been to mexico, jamaica, or grand cayman... If you have, then check out eastern or southern carribean...

As always though, i HIGHLY reccomend Royal Carribean....
