Why are the T-101's body builder huge? They were designed to be infiltration units in the future, to blend in with regular humans. Kyle mentions "the 600 series had rubber skin, we spotted them easy...but these are new." So we know that humans were on the lookout for infiltration units in the future.

Yet the machines chose the huge form of arnold, and if Kyle's flashback is any indication, other T-101 models also were huge body builder guys. People are scratching dirt off rocks to stay alive in the future and would likely be pretty small and skinny for the most part...why would the machines chose a huge motherfvcker like arnold as a body type of choice for a machine that was suppose to be unnoticable? To many steriods in the cybernetic growth chamber?

Clearly the machines recify this with the newer prototypes since that patrick whatever guy is pretty small and normal looking. (besides the pixie ears) So should we assume this is a design flaw by the machines?

I think its the muscles that make arnold big moreso than his frame. The skeleton terminators didnt look too big per se... i could take em :)

Plus the guy with the machinegun (scene with the dogs) didnt look too big either.

The 101's were to inspire fear. The 1000's were more for stealth and low profile.

Who said they were all huge body builder types? Don't we only see two of them in the film? Because two of them were big doesn't mean they were all big.

I remember that terminator being pretty large as well. I could be wrong.

Oh, its certainly not the frame...but the machines control the outside as well so they must have picked a huge guy for some reason.

Well if you recall right, the Terminators weren't exactly small in size. In T2 the skin was tight around the metal frame - it's not exactly like the Terminators were woman sized.

Inspire fear? Did you even watch the movie? If they were to 'inspire fear' they would have all been werewolves or something.
