So drumpf to the coast guard grads touted that no politician in history has been treated worse than him or more unfairly.
First off, I believe Caesar, Jack Kennedy, Robt Kennedy, William McKinley, Yitzhak Rabin, Franz Ferdinand, Abe Lincoln, Harvey Milk, Pontiac, Huey Long, James Garfield, Benazir Bhutto, and numerous others would contend they were treated slightly less than fair.
Secondly, can he stop talking about himself at all, during any speech, any 'news' conference? Or is his narcissism so rampant, it's coursing through him like syphilis was to capone during his final days in florida?
The full quote is as follows
"Look at the way I have been treated lately, especially by the media," he said. "No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly. You can't let them get you down, you can't let the critics and the naysayers get in the way of your dreams."

Now I have to (grudgingly) give him credit for that last sentence, although, I'd bet that was written for him and not by him.

Actually, Franz Ferdinand needed killing. Trump's a political genius and all around decent human being by comparison.

Yeah I get Trump. After all it took just one bullet to kill Lincoln. Donny seems to have been shot a few times in the areas of the brain responsible for executive functions and sadly lived to not be able to even think about how he's thinking.

You can look beyond assassinations for politicians treated far more unfairly than Trump, such as Nelson Mandela. He is so self-involved and ignorant it's embarrassing.

Agreed. But those were the easiest ones to point out, you could even argue Carter was treated more unfairly than herr drumpf

the only unfair treatment trump got was the keys to the white house. He lost the election fair and square.

He... said this...
This man is not a President. He should be assisted by Congress on finding a role more suited to a man of his talent.

This is part hyperbole, but at the same time, it reinforces the notion that Trump really does believe he's the center of the universe. People telling unflattering truths about him apparently makes him the most persecuted leader in history.

Trump - "Look at the way I have been treated lately, especially by the media," he said. "No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly".

I'll consider this when someone spends 5 years trying to prove President Trump wasn't born in the US

Famous Presidential aphorisms:

"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

"The buck stops here."

"If you want a friend in this town, get a dog."

"Waaahhh!! Everybody's being mean to me."

"JFK for you on line 2 Mr. President. No, that's not how ... just hit the flashing button that says 2."

That was on Miserable Monday. On Terrible Tuesday this dialogue occurred:

"Mr. President, despite whatever Pence and his staff have been telling you, please refer to that little sticky note I attached to your forehead as to what the actual phone number for 911 is, and despite what Ted Cruz told you last week, I'm not going to remind you again about who's actually buried in Grant's Tomb".
