<message to my teacher>
Sir, let me point some things out to you:
1 - Giving us a link to the solutions manual does not count as help. Especially when you admit solutions manual has a lot of mistakes.
2 - Referring us to the solutions manual everytime we ask for help sucks. See point 1.
3 - Homework assignments that take 40+ hours suck, we have a life and I personally have 18 credit hours (max) and a job. A lot of others are in similar positions.
4 - When your examples in class are a 2 on the hardness scale, homework problems that are an average of 9 out of 10 are not justified.
5 - Problems that require the use of a dictionary or material not even covered by the book are unfair. See point 2 and 4.
6 - Giving lecture from a secret book (which we found) and assigning us a crappy text book is a low blow. Its a waste of our money and it is common knowledge that the department does not force you to pick a certain book.
7 - Tests and quizzes that require 3+ hours and are the hardest homework questions but are allotted 1 hour is the final nail in our coffins. See point 4.

Funny thing is, I actually liked this prof. as a person before this class started.
