You keep injecting race into this. That is the flaw in your argument.

Doesn't he? The primary difference is that this Senator is an obvious partisan. Where as McConnell is a more slippery snake. Yet they are of the same mind. McConnell will speak against Trump in one breath, and heap support for a fictional 2024 run in his next breath. They are equally die hard partisans extolling the virtues of their supporters while denouncing Democrats.
Racism and partisanship are not exclusive attributes. Quite the opposite, they're complimentary, as they're both about hating on some group of "Others" based on negative overgeneralizations. And they both have the tendency to lead to violence inevitably justified by some phony 'self-defense' claim based on one or more of those negative overgeneralizations.

Heard comment from Rep. House member tonight in chambers saying he thinks the focus on rhetoric is not appropriate, that in a "free society" that should not be a concern, i.e. say what you want, but the focus must instead be on punishing criminal behavior. So, connect the dots and he's fine with Trump working the populace with racist rhetoric. "Kung flu," said the mega-weenie.

I have to agree. The GOP is the party of racism, division, the glorification of opportunism without restraint, the denigration of political correctness, the fight against fairness itself.

Well obviously Trump lost and the Repubs refuse to get over it. They like not getting over it. This refusal manifests itself in a sick form of growing animosity toward those who "stole Trump's victory away from him" as if he was miraculously destined to win no matter how vile, how corrupt and how incomprehensibly inept and bluntly dictatorial he was at failing to perform his duties as POTUS.

And here's the buckets.....no, here's the truckloads of salt that's been pouring into their wounds: Biden, through his efforts at simply doing the job the people elected him to do is proving day by day how Trump was (arguably) the worst president we've ever had over what was a years long crime spree aided and abetted by millions of folks who, through their blind mislaid loyalty to party over country enabled and endorsed a string of crimes committed by Trump and his nest of hand picked convicted (and pardoned) caporegimes.

Ergo, the better Biden does, the worse Trump looks, the angrier, defensive and frustrated his supporters get over that, resulting in a rising level of acts and diatribes of desperation.

Can't face the facts? Well just make up shit to get around them, eh?

"Black folks are not stupid. We know their tricks. We know their motivation,'' McDonald says. "They are the [Ku Klux] Klan in three-piece suits." Rev. Tim McDonald

The Governor of Arkansas just signed a law making it legal for medical providers to refuse to provide medical services to gay people.

Sigh more useless feel good to the deplorable legislation. Remember when these guys were against needless legislation?
Remember when these guys were all about God?
Wouldn’t medical ethics overrule any concern a Nurse may have about treating a Gay man?
Does any rational person think a loving God would want someone to not care for a gay person?

Republican Jesus speaks to this very subject in the Book of Fuck Off Libtards. Where he tells the job creators and the holy prosperity believers that being cruel to the poor and the different is the "right" way to do things.

Republicans want people who criticize racism fired. They are not calling for the firing of the real racists.
Biden press secretary shuts down call to remove Thomas-Greenfield over ‘white supremacy’ remarks (yahoo.com)
But the UN Ambassador is giving aid and comfort to America’s enemies by admitting we are not a perfect nation. How are whites supposed to have pride in this nation with such decisive rhetoric?

I am being sarcastic but the “opinion” pieces that will flow from this will mirror what I just said.

The Republicans shouted this "caucus" down because people with racist views are already voting for Republicans or future Trump-inspired candidates. An appeal to architecture is not going to expand the party. This would seem to go against future demographics needed to win national elections, and the degree of modern enlightenment that exists.

Lots'a Repubs do have a way with dehumanizing other folks in order to feel superior over them. Don't know if those insecurities that prompt that kind of vile behavior are inbred or pounded into them from childhood. The verbal and written abuse Michelle Obama took from the Repubs while Barak was POTUS is a perfect example of this.

I would think the penchant to heap abuse on others does definitely start in the home. It's driven into kids at an early age and in most cases they never find their way out of it.
