Well, sometime next week my mega Christian friend is going to drag me along to The Passion of the Christ, he's paying for me (both ticket and refreshments) and I just couldn't say no when it came to him saying he's taking me as a friend. I'm an atheist, by the way. I hope this isn't a waste of 2 hours like I think it is.
 
This could never, ever have ever gone into one of the other 10,000 threads about this movie.

and people jumped down my thoat when i said that local churches should not be pushing people to pester others about seeing this movie.

 
So has the entire theme of this board become "We are bored, lets bash Christians"? I mean, what is up with the pointless posts? I understand that you guys like to be Athiests and all, but please.... MOVE ON. I know it is because of the movie and all, but hasn't it become overly tiresome? Find something else to be negative about for a little while.

Darn. I clicked in here thinking I might be able to look at The Picture OF Church and see some cool old gothic-style church building. Oh well. Good luck with those folks anyway.

What a waste this movie will be for you. I mean you are an atheist and this movie is about relgion. Imagine how I felt when I went to see Lord of the Rings and The Matrix as I am neither an Elf or a Program.
 
Actually, I just went to see it last night and it was actually very well done. Difinitely gory, but I think that it's representative of the times when that sort of stuff was considered great entertainment by society.
