YASTBTP (yet another stupid ticket by the poleeze)

OK, so I woke up to a parking ticket for parking "in the red zone". My car bumper barely pass the red zone.

But, that's besides the point, the point is, the red curbs were painted by the association of the complex accross the street from me. Last I check, that was not a designated fire zone, what the heck did they give me a ticket for? They should call zoning and get them bastards to repaint the curb.

at least you didnt get towed. if you've got a bumper over the yellow curb at all in my complex, you get towed 30 miles away and get charged about $150.

Oh no, that's another story, they did tow my car once, it costed me $300 bucks to get it back, within the hour. :| But that's another story for another stupid effin reason. I swear they got me tagged or something, the last time I called them to report vandalism, it took them 10 hrs to show up. When one of the occifer showed up, he was surprised that I called 10 hrs back.

i hate it when i have to park up a bit past a line becuase the idiots behind the spot all parked up. then i come back and they are all gone and BAM! i get a ticket like im the jackass who decided to disregard lines.

Take a picture of your car and the zone and take it to court with proof that it isn't a valid zone. If you aren't willing to do that much work to get out of your ticket, then just pay it.

I will of course fight it.

To answer Boogiman, no, this is definitely not my fault. I work closely with many law enforcement entities, and when asked, they all told me that the ticket is BS. Just because it's painted red doesn't mean they can give me a ticket, it has to be a city designated zone.
