YAStarbucksT: Will it ever go under due to market saturation?

  • Thread starter Thread starter

I was reading the other Starbucks thread (how many Sbucks are within X miles of your home?) and found myself wondering how the economy could support 105 starbucks within a five-mile circle in New York, NY.

Has Starbucks saturated the market? Will coffee drinkers be able to support such a huge company? And how big is the "coffee lobby" in Congress?

Will Starbucks be around in 20 years? Or will there be a lot of prime downtown real estate available?

It might go under...No one ever goes to the one in our town anymore because it's just too crowded
So WHO is actually going there if no one goes there because of the crowds? 😉
