Hi ,

Ive been running SuSE Linux for about a week now and im slowly getting used to it .

Only thing is i have to get used to going to YaST2 everytime i log on and going to my
eth0 card i dont even have to do anything , just go into the configure and then click finish , and it install's the drivers , but it wont save them .

I have to do this everytime i log on ?

Has anyone got any info on this , im thinking it may just be a stupid newbie mistake
that can be resolved easy ?

It could be any of a few different things. Post the output of dmesg or the contents of /var/log/boot.msg and we can see if something's amiss.

Thank for replying but theres no need to fix it now .

I just re-installed SuSE as i had only installed it a few days ago , i wasnt losing much .

It was the nVidia drivers that didnt install and for some reason it would save any network drivers after that .

Anyway i just re-installed with the nVidia nForce2 NIC desabled and my own PCI NIC
Installed . :)

Cheers anyway
