Okay, I heard this song last night on Dateline NBC during the little "teaser" they did for ATM fraud before the commercial. It's an industrial-sounding song, with a heavy base line and a crescendo as the song goes on.
I know it's been in a movie, and I know I've seen the movie, but I can't for the life of me remember what movie it was. But it's a popular song for use in chase scenes, high-pressure scenes (i.e. the protagonist has to get out of a room before the bad guys catch up to him or her).
I know many of you have heard it before, and its use in Dateline certainly wasn't the first time it was used. Sorry, I can't really imitate or write out the beat, because it would just look like, "do do do DO do do do DO" with a rising backround noise that sounds BARELY melodic, but just enough to make it catchy.
Thanks.
EDIT: the song was also used in an AT-member produced movie called RIAAlity posted here a couple months back. I was able to use my Archos Jukebox Recorder held up to my speakers to record the song from the movie. Here's the sample file - tell me what it's called!
