YASST (Yet another Steam Sucks thread)

2nd pic is the newest evidence that steam is an utter pile of steaming crap. I can't even load up steam at all. I've even tried reinstalling it and no go.

Yeah, just today, Steam refused to start when my system started - or when I tried starting it myself. I'd have to go to my task manager and close it, then start it again. And when I did this, it'd sit at "logging in as..." for ever, I left it for an hour and it didn't budge. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and for some reason, even after downloading the newest install from Steam's website, it needs to update - fresh out of the fuggin box and it needs an update. It JUST finished minutes ago, and nothing happened... back to square one

#!%) )*#!%)* !#)% *!)#% i can't believe how angry steam makes me. I'm fine with them wanting you to activate.. whatever, but man! steam crashed last night, it 'updated' now i don't have 'hl2' installed? WTF?!

of course valve doesn't know what happened, i made it to nova prospket too, GAH!

Before you do anything, check the following directory:

C:\progra~1\valve\steam\SteamApps\*USERNAME*\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE


replace *USERNAME* with your steam user name. It's where your save files are stored.

gd damn POS stupid idiot programmers. Now it doesn't load up at all and I'm probably going to have to reinstall everything. :|:|:|:|:|:|
