In Tennessee this time.

8-(

Thoughts and prayers to victims, anger and resentment towards punk.

Just one more bit of kindling to my fire...it WILL be my goal to achieve legal status for teachers and administrators with the proper training to carry while on the job. Somebody HAS to be there to protect your children since the parents won't/can't.

The problem is not guns. He could have easily used another weapon.

Give the guns to the sane and take the guns out of the hands of the insane!

A part of me agrees that guns are not the problem. Another part argues that guns allow for the easiest and quickest way to kill.

Guns should have a liscensing test, similar to driving.

So maybe we should hold the grandfather accountable since it was his responsibility to make sure that the weapon is safe and secured? We can't punish those two murderers anymore since they are dead. If the gun is put in a safe place, it should be fine.

There are many ways to kill people besides guns. People have been killing millions before gunpowder was invented. So you want people to showcase their aiming skills before they can have a firearm? Maybe you should write that to your congressperson.

People should have to go through a intensive background check before they are allowed to have guns. It should be mandatory that the owner of the gun is held accountable if anyone but him or her uses that gun.

Like I said, until we invent a button that kills anyone instantly, guns are the best tools to kill.

And not a test of aiming skills, a test that indicates you know how to safely handle one, and also to make sure you don't have a loose nut somewhere. Background checks are a good idea as well.

Perhaps. I was just throwing that bit of data out there. Sometimes it's not black and white.

Gun Permit Inspector: ...Okay, Johnny, I am going to flip though some cards with blobs on them and I want you to tell me what you see.... target or friendly?....
Johnny: target
GPI: Target or friendly?....
...
...
GPI: Here's your permit...and be responsible

Sounds like a good test to me...
