IMO P&N should have a title change to just Politics. I don't equate with reading actual NEWS when i go in that forum.

I have to confess I haven't watched much of this or paid any attention to reading about it, either. But the other day I noticed Scott Peterson's picture on the cover of Nat'l Enq. while in line @ the supermarket. Does this guy looks as much like Ben Afleck as he seemed to in that picture? Because if so, that would explain all the media attention to the trial.

So wierd that his case has gotten so much media attention. When I first heard it (I live in the bayarea) I didn't think much of it but when I heard it was national news I was very surprised. Its all because they were a rich white family and Laci was pregnate. I think that is why this case has gotten so much attention, sighs....

I absolutely refuse to pay any attention to this sorry excuse for a "news" story. I do not care for fabricated news stories. I do not care for media profitting from the death of a woman and her unborn child. I do not care for news whose sole purpose is to garner ratings. I do not care to listen to endless commentary about the trial and how the defendent was presented at today's hearings.

In short, I do not care for television news. At all. Actually, I think I'm a better citizen for not watching it.
