Basically things with one roommate have eroded over the past year...as in 2 of us absolutely hate him and the other is trying to be neutral, but he's fed up too. Well anyways, he'd always do gay sh1t like hide silverware, and the TV remote and the such, but I really didn't start to get pissed until he started destroying my sh1t. First thing he did was I had 4 bradn new computers(dell's) in their boxes sitting in one of the main rooms. Sure, I should have moved it and all, but it was finals time so they were there for about 5 days. Doesn't really hurt him, they're in the corner of a common area. So he gets pissed, and takes his pool cue and starts stabbin holes in my computer boxes. Imagine the shock on people's faces when they get brand new computers with holes in the boxes. Other things hes done include destroying my wireless 802.11b card. He basically pried the case off and scraped off one of the surface mount chips...it was really obvious it had been tampered with and my other 2 roommates were with me at a party. He also gets pissed when I play games on the internet and sits there with 3 computers and pings me causing me to lag. This isn't such a big problem as I just change my IP.
With our old fridge there were 3 shelves. The top shelf was for milk and drinks, well he basically took the whole bottom shelf for himself and still complained about not having enough room even though 3 of us were sharing 1 shelf. So he goes and gets another fridge which makes all of us happy cause theres 4 equal shelves. Well he wants 2 fridges in the kitchen and we all veto him. So he brings up a new fridge and has less room which I thought was funny. Anyways, he sits there and each shelf is equal, each shelf can fit a milk and all that good stuff. Well hes mad that he got the shaft so he starts shrinking my shelf down so I can't fit a milk...so I keep makin my sehlf back to normal size. Anyways, to make a long story one morning he put don't jack my shelf spacae without asking and wrote it on a note and put it on my shelf. So I turned it upside down and wrote you're gay on it and beat the crap out of him. He ran into his room and grabbed a flashlight and started swinging it, at which time my other roommate woke up and broke it up, letting him jack his shelf space instead.
Since he hid all the pots and pans in his room and all the spatulas, we hid the microwaves in my room(we brought up 2 microwaves, one of which is mine and one of which is my other roommate's) and now we're hiding them.
Heres the last straw...for some reason my sh1t keeps dissappearing. Specifically my Hurricane DVD, my minority report DVD, and he wrote his name on my the world is not enough DVD and claimed it as his own. With my Hurricane DVD he left the box but took the DVD out of it. The thing is I felt bad assuming he stole them, so I figured they'd reappear sometime and before the lease is up I'd search his room when he wasn't around and take all of it back. So anyways, one of my othe roommates and I have been meaning to do a clean sweep of his room for our stuff sometime and I decided to do mine tonight because he went skiing.
Heres a list of things I found that were mine:
portable mp3 player
hurricane DVD
world is not enough DVD
And to top it off:
4 100 dollar DVD players.
You might be wondering what I'm doing with 4 DVD players. Well 3 weeks ago I placed an order for 20 of them to sell on ebay. I get home and count 16 DVD players so I assume the idiots at walmart only shipped me 16 as there were 4 boxes with 4 each in them. I figured they thought there were 5 in each box. Anyways, so I call walmart, tell them 1 box didn't arrive, and they send me 4 new ones. I'm happy. Well anyways, turns out they didn't get lost in the mail, they were shipped...but he STOLE them. They're in his closet covered up by a bag. The funny thing is I would always not go in his room cause he closes the door when he leaves so I assumed that out of respect I shouldn't go in...well no longer....
So finally we come to this:
What would you guys do? I have pictures of all my things, one of my other roommates saw the sh1t in his closet. Can we kick him out and still make him pay rent? Do I wait till the end of the year to bring it up and show him pictures just in case he tries to destroy anything else of mine? Basically my solution right now is to beat the crap out of him...and I don't think that's so civil....
How do you even bring something up liek this? I mean, if it were up to me I'd destroy his computer and be like thats alright..just sell my DVD players and buy a new one...
