Sounds like something the Republicans would love.

HAHAHAHA. Democrats don't give a rats *** about the environment. They bow to whoever they are speaking to at the time.

In Committee, as I understand it, information was proffered that suggested the regulations were counter productive and led to excess cost and non compliance issues do to the absence of technology to allow some industry to effect changes to comply... thus they may be forced to move to more friendly states... where polution is seen as a good thing vs tax base loss..
Sorta of let the population die from polution rather than starvation... they'd live longer.. I guess!

yes, lack of contributions is seen as counter productive to party politics, so contributions are seen as friendly towards corrupt politicians featuring Martha Stewart Sellout Technology

This is pretty old news (July 2002), but I'm simply appalled at what happened. The only question in my mind is -- How did a donation to David result in the entire water quality control board reversing their decision to OK the permit? Did Davis share the money with the board? Did he threaten the board with violence? Why is the board itself not to blame in this? So many questions, but does Arnold have the answers?

More proof that the line between the Republicans and the Deomcrats is vanishing.

ReiAyanam,
I'd agree with that notion... but, ain't the reality such that to raise the regulation impact when the technology has yet to provide the capability to comply, in some instances, a reason to revisit the issue? Assumes it is true... of course.

edit to add who I am addressing...
