I think I know what it's like to be a celeb, kinda. My wife and I have 6 month old twins, both boys, both adorable. Them combined with our two other children aged 6 and 7 can make for a hectic trip to the store/restaraunt/wherever, leaving us frustrated or at least in a hurry to get home to keep them on thier feeding schedule. These things alone are fine and not much trouble.

There is one problem that ALWAYS comes up, and we haven't found a solution yet. It seems like every woman older than 25 feels the need to stop us and have a look. At first it wasn't bad, but we just got home from the store after being stopped by half a dozen strangers gawking and saying the DUMBEST things.

"Are they twins?" - Seriously????? How could we have two children the same size/age otherwise. WTF do people ask that

"Do they keep you busy?" - What do you think? The can't eat/poop/bathe on thier own and the only form of communication they have is a scream. Piece of cake.

"What were you guys thinking?" - This is my favorite, like we had twins by CHOICE. Its not like the Dr. gave us the option beforehand and we elected for it. Again people, WTF...

I know I'm whining, and that this crap belongs on a 12yo's myspace blog, but I'm spreading the word. If you see a double stoller and you don't know the people pushing it. LEAVE THEM ALONE They don't have time for your gawking and are busy enough without hearing you say the same crap they heard from the last 200 people this trip. Oh, and to the teenager that just took the only close parking spot and made us walk a mile across the parking lot in the rain, thanks

I could go on, but this rant used up my 10 mins of free time today...

Sorry, forgot the PIC!!!

He might give some to the kid too. LOL

Most of the time ppl ask question without thinking. Like my dad, I miss placed my keys and asked him if he have seen it. He ask me back "Where did you put it?" if I knew I would go get it instead of asking him.

Yeah, I here ya. I have an eight month old and a 4 year old. No twins, but people still want to stop, stare and aask a million questions. Thankfully none of them as dumb as the ones you are getting. Time to start responding with even dumber answers!

They are just trying to be nice.

Maybe everyone should just stay logged on to the Internet and never venture outside for fear of having to answer such awkward questions.
