YART: yay! got a raise today at work.

my bosses finally got around to going through a year-end review with me today, and at the end of the confrence, told me that I'm getting an 11.5% raise

5% of that was just the standard yearly raise (I was hired in late November of '03, so I wasn't eligible for it last year), and the other 6.5% was because they think I consistantly out-perform my coworkers

eh. I like my job a lot and I'm not really all about the money.

I live pretty comfortably as it is. all the raise means is more money into my 401K and a couple extra toys at the end of the month.

pffft comeback to me when your boss decides that he is over paying everyone that worls for him and reduces everybodies wages to award level, a 30% decrease!

it never costs you money... you just pay more taxes on the additional money over a certain amount.
