If God didn't create us, then who/what created the materials in the "big bang"?
Where did all that stuff come from?

Well, if we don't know - why do we assume a supreme being made it. Maybe, like with everything else we've come to understand - the concept at present completely escapes us. Of course the question posed is nby its very nature unanswerable, but that doesn't necessarily mean the logic I outlined above - and that applies to other unknowns - doesn't apply here too.

Andy
BTW - Isn't this thread a little "open"?

Too much intuition there. What is the definition of "somewhere" when applied outside the known universe? If its there before the start of time does "come from" mean anything? Because we don't know or may never know does that mean a supreme being did it? I don't see how it does - unless you need an simple and easily comprehensible explaination. From my experience that isn't usually the way - quantum mechanics anyone?

He failed to realize that matters (and anti matters) do pop in and out of existence, and this has been proven. And a crippled guy did prove that he knows a little more about that E=MC^2.Originally posted by: TuxDave
