Yardman 7hp Snowblower, need some help!

So just for fun, try finding any info about this snowblower.

Yardman
Model 7100-2
26" 7hp
Snow Thrower


The first page or so of google comes up with all these russian sites.. I don't know.. The yardman site itself is clogged with nothingness.

Anyone have one of these? The problem is the belt that ties the crankshaft to the auger and center "thrower" part. I don't think it's wound correctly. Well, obviously it's not. It smokes like crazy when you put it into drive. I think the idler wheel might be backwards... I don't know. I'm afraid to try and work on it, the ol man is a bit testy right now.


Any ideas?

No offense to ATOT, but you'll probably have more luck asking in a dedicated forum.

I don't know what is up with those Russian sites!! We had the same problem when looking for snowblower info online.

yeah, it's weird. I haven't noticed it with anything else; the first time I've had pages of ".ru" bogus links when searching for snowblowers?
