I have an idea, let's send a package to another state when it is 5 miles from it's destination.

The package was scheduled to show up saturday, I figured it would show up today, but now it is a week away.

Is there any reason why this would happen? I can't think of anything logical.

Update: Package came and Part-Express refunded me!

Yeah, that's f'ed up. I remember I shipped a package and the person contacted me saying it was delivered to a completely different state. I looked it up, and yeah, it was showing it went to Texas, even though I'd sent it to Massachusetts. I called them, gave them the tracking # off the receipt, and they said it was in Massachusetts. Somehow, their online system was showing a package that I had shipped months before, which I have no clue how it did that since I did it at a FedEx Kinko's and it was not tied to any account with FedEx. Big WTF.

That's OK, I recall seeing a UPS package go back and forth between two UPS facilities in two different states several times.

Sounds like a business trip I took last year. I started in Canton, Ohio and was flying to Cookeville, Tennessee which is roughly 500 miles south-west.

Flight #1 took me 70 miles north to Cleveland, OH. Flight #2 took me roughly 700 miles south to Atlanta, GA - which is also about 200 miles south of Cookeville, TN. Flight #3 took me 250 miles north-west to Nashville, which is about 100 miles west of Cookeville. Flight #4 took me the last 100 miles east to me destination. :)

Just checked the mail, no package. So it looks like it is actually in CA. WTF!

Should come today, it's not here.

The last update on the fedex site is that it left CA on Nov 28th!

It's probably in Cuba or something.

Any time USPS gets its hands on a parcel post or a UPS/FedEx dropped off package where they're supposed to deliver it it's a mess.

I sent a priority mail package to somewhere in the Twin Cities (I'm 2 hours away) and it went from Alexandria MN to California, and then came back to MN to be delivered like 7 days later.

USPS sucks but for a small business owner it's much more predictable/cost effective option.

Parts Express had it listed as pure Fedex, should I ask for a refund or something? This is ridiculous.

I'll never forget the time I was tracking a package and noticed it was arrived in my city, and the office delivery guy showed up with it right as I had the page opened. The time stamp was 15 minutes past. I've never seen a tracker be that much real time. :p

Okay, tracking update, in Denver. Delivery date - 12/7/09!!! WTF?:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Anyways, I hear PX has good customer service so I am going to ask for a full refund, or at least a shipping refund.

Parts-express agreed to refund the total cost! Amazing customer service on their part and I will continue to order there, just not with fedex. :awe:
