Reversed 3 transactions over a month after they were made to my account. 540 dollars in total. I was running a dutch auction for some things and the dude bought a bunch over several bids.
Ok fine, I understand that someones paypal might have been hacked, even if they gave the password away, fine. But I don't even know that for sure, Paypal hasn't given me a reason why, much less a single reply beyond "Funds are on hold pending investigation" and "Transactions have been reversed/debited from your account". Sent about 8 emails so far since about week and a half ago, not a single reply.
So when the money was transferred to me they took out about 16 dollars in "fees". And guess what, when they reverse it they reverse for the FULL amount. I paid those fvcking "FEE"s again!
All I want are maybe a name of who was involved, a reason for reversing the transactions, those extra fees that they took from me.
So right now I am out 540 dollars in merchandise, and about -16 dollars out of my paypal account for my troubles.
Is there anyway to get some real attention from paypal? I am not about to deal with answering machines and cookie cutter web forms and emails.
