So there is this $20 off $100 at Pepboys floating around.
Good opportunity as I need to replace 1 tire on a set of white wheels I have laying around.
It turns out the tire I need+services = $101 so I can use the coupon.
So I lug all 4 wheels with me in case they can put them on the car for me.(I have the original wheels on the car).
As we were in the process, I asked that once they put on the 1 tire, if they could go ahead and put all the white wheels on the car(I had the other 3 in my car).
The guy said sure.
So when they finally got to my car, the guy was in the process of taking all my old wheels out when another person ask me what I wanted done. When I explained it to him, he told me that he would have to charge me $5 per wheel. I mean WTF, I spent like $100 there and they can't just put 3 extra wheels on ?? Beside the dude already had someof the old wheels out.
So I said, no thanks, I can put them on myself....beside, you guys charge $9.99 for rotation so how is he going to charge me $5 per wheel ??
It was finally done 2 hrs later instead of the 1 hr I was told.
The tire guy looked like he didn't know what the hell he was doing as he struggled to get the old tire out.
Also the fact that he took he sweet time getting soda, smoking, etc...
So I went home to change the wheels myself only to find that the special tool to get the lugnuts out(that I lend out) was still at the store.
Now I have to drag myself back to the store(10miles away) to get that tool.
