We were only playing for chips but that does not mean that bad play should be allowed. Anyone with some reading ability should of know what I had on the flop because I playing tight. In my hand: AdKd.

I was UTG so I bet 6 chips into 2/1 blind. Guy to the left called, 2 people folded, another all-in for total of 8, another fold, and a call to the right. Everyone calls. One split pot.

Flop: Jd 9d Qd…cool nut Flush . I bet all-in 37 chips. The guy to the left goes all-in for his 10 chips. Pot number 2.

The guy to my right calls my all in and has more than me. So we have pot number 3.
We all show cards I have nut flush and way ahead of a pair of Jacks and a pair of Queens

Turn: Js….still ahead.

River: Qh….dead hand.

Queen Jacks full house, beats Jack-Queen Full house, beats Nut Flush.

What the F?

Who the hell plays poker without money? Poker is a betting game, the statistical analysis is a distant second.

It was a pick-up game, just to pass the time. Most of the time we play for $10 by in. This group is fairly loose fish, with a lot of family pots so you are only playing the river and turn.

once the J came on the turn, your opponents had 5 outs. ~14% chance to catch the right card. you made the right decision and got the money in at the right time. over the long term you'd make money. this time, you didnt. shit happens sometimes when you make the right call.

since you didnt bust, did you donkey your chips off afterwards?
