Are these threads allowed?

Anyway, just finished Mass Effect II. Great game. Will probably replay it at some point but not immediately. Immediately preceding ME2 was ME1. I loved both these games and wish ME3 was out right now so I could play it for hours on end. Before ME1 was Mirror's Edge wish I also really enjoyed and was definitely worth $5.

Choices (Unless otherwise noted, I haven't started/played these games before):

Assassin's Creed (I)
Broken Sword Collection
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena/Escape from Butcher Bay remix
Commander Keen: Complete Pack (played the first three in about 1993... these were my first computer games ever, I think)
Company of Heroes and expansion
Crayon Physics
Crysis and Crysis: Warhead
Dead Space
Defense Grid: Awakening
Dragon Age: Origins
Far Cry
FreeSpace II SCP (source code project)
id Super Pack - Doom 1-3, Quake 1-3, Heretic, Hexen, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, etc (I played a lot of these when they came out, but its been a while)
The Longest Journey
Neverwinter Nights 2 (the last 1/3 - I got to a little after the beginning of Act III and stopped for a while)
NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer
NWN2 Storm of Zehir
Painkiller Black (I think I played the original when it came out)
Penumbra Trilogy
Psychonauts
Red Faction: Guerrilla
Sid Meier's Pirates! (2004 version)
Stalker: SoC (played it when it came out but thinking of playing it again with mods)
Stalker: Clear Sky
Supreme Commander
Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
Titan Quest and TQ: Immortal Throne
Trine
World in Conflict and expansion
World of Goo (~second half or so)
Zombie Driver

Damn, I need to stop buying games. Curse you, Steam!

I've played Crayon Physics, Defense Grid & World of Goo and Zombie Driver and enjoyed all of them. I need to work on my Steam backlog also...

I just threw a dart at my screen and came up with Knights of the Old Republic.

Now where did I put my microfiber cloth...

This is probably a good idea. Like I said I really enjoyed Bioware's later SF RPGs (ME1 & 2), so it stands to reason that I would like KOTOR. One of my good buddies works at Obsidian and worked on all the cinematics for KOTOR2 so I owe it to him to play that game at some point as well.

I looked at some FAQs for Dragon Age and it looks like the game requires some serious commitment. I think I stopped playing NWN2 a while back because there was a lot to manage and it almost seemed like work. I absolutely did not have that problem with ME1 or 2, I donno what it is about high fantasy that seems more difficult for me nowadays. It's a bit odd because I played Baldur's Gate II way back in the day and really, really liked it.

I bet you'll like almost all of those games.

My favorites out of your list:
Defense Grid: Awakening
Dragon Age: Origins
Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
World in Conflict and expansion

If you liked BG2 you'll probably love Dragon Age.
