I know Photoshop is the application of choice for post-processing. Does anyone use The Gimp combined with UFRaw for post-processing/RAW conversion? I've been using that for now as I just spent a lot of money on a Canon EOS 30D and a used-but-excellent-condition EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Autofocus Lens (it came with the hood). (And this and this (yes, yes, not a real tripod...). And I hope to spend some more (at some point) on a real tripod, another lens, a remote shutter thingy and a real flash.)

I'm also curious to know what software people use for creating HDR photos and stitching for panoramas (how about PTgui?).
