well, in the 2000 olympics, the US was in first with 97 medals, and china was in third with 59 medals. so, i'd say the chances are pretty good that the US will take home the most. anything can happen though.
 
I say US is first, with China second.

wait another 4 years with beijing hosting the olympics. Since China automatically qualifies for everything then, expect a strong showing.
