though he can be dominating at times (38pts 18rebs last nite), i think he needs to be able to carry his team to victory more often, especially without mcgrady due to recent injuries.

there are certainly plenty of other good players in the west.

they would also benefit from a dependable third offensive option, battier isn't working out.

But the rest of his team sucks except for TMac and hes hurt so much that its pretty much Yao on his own all the time. Now personally, I don't think Yao deserves the MVP, but it annoys me that only people on the top tier teams can ever get serious consideration. The Heisman is ten times worse though, honestly if you arent a national title contender you can pretty well write your chances off right there.

another 35 and 15 last night, with 8 blocks 4 assists but he gets no support and kobe but kobe shows him up with 53.

last 4 games: 35/15, 38/18, 26/5, 38/11.
