A poster in here is right it might not bother you, but the bass travles far and can be annyoing. One of my old roommates did that to the whole house, it wasnt too bad in his room, but shook the whole damn house apart.

Mine is the exact opposite. The bass is almost overwhelming in my bedroom, but in my front room, or the mudroom, it's only a slight rumble.

Man, I miss living in my old townhome and having stereo wars with the rap listener next door :D

Sounds fun, do that sometimes up at the dorms with my z5300's. I ussually win, but a few weeks ago, someone had just gotten in some new subs for there car, and was testing em out. I lost needless to say. (Total power from his subs was over 300wats, sub on the z5300's is 100w, total system power is 280)

Turn it down. You live in an apt and have to think of your neighbors.

I once had a DJ living next door who for some stupid reason used speakers instead of headphones to mix. I asked him nicely about 20 times to keep it down but he was waking me up at all times of the night or driving me crazy during the day. It was the worst experience I've ever had in an apt. Ear plugs didn't help. I was tempted to tear his limbs off. It was beyond frustrating.

So I went out and bought a 250W sub and put it towards his wall. Tried every album I could find until I found the one that just hit hard. Of all CD's from DMX to The Beatles, I found that the Beatles were the best. I'd set it for 2 hours and leave the apt. Then I'd rinse and repeat. The windows would be shaking. I think I did this for about a week and a half but neither side gave in so I gave my 30 days notice and proceded to make his life as miserable as he had made mine. There's no way he got any sleep.

As I'm moving out I see that he is too. He comes up to me and tells me I won, he's leaving. Well we laughed long and hard about that one and then helped each other move out. Was a lot of fun.

SOOOOOOOOO LOUD!!!!

FWIW it's most likely the bass thats traveling over to her side, try lowering that and see what the results are.

Also living in an apartment I wouldn't expect my neighbors to keep it down during daytime hours, but by 10:00PM or later, they better damn well keep it down, especially on week nights.
