I purchased a leadtek 7900GT from them for 220$ (open box).

It was posting incorrectly (LINES during SOURCE orBF 2) they are giving me a new one and are paying next day shipping both ways! I am pretty pumped how much they rock.

Yeah... they are good. It's not like the majority of the etailers wouldn't do a return or exchange on a defective item, but Newegg CS is excellent and you get responded to with a solution, quick! And the free NDA/cross-shipping shows it. Not some "uhh send us back the old card (s&h out of your pocket) and we'll have a new one to you in a 10-14 business days" crap!

I've always had good experiences with Newegg, and while they may have higher prices for some things, I still buy from them when making major purchases.

Me too. I don't shop and very seldom regret it.

I was going over my charge card statements for the last several years. Boy, their name appears very often.

Now I have a preferred account.

What astounded me the most was they had someone at the online chat on saturday :), and they are giving me a new retail'd version of the 7900GT when I puchrased an open box one at open box price!

I just made two errors while building a box for my little brother with parts from different vendors. I tried to save 10$ by buying the heatsink from another vendor. Newegg had my refund in and waived the restocking fee two weeks ago. Still waiting to hear from zipzoomfly. I think I'm done "cheaping out" with other vendors unless its a signifigant difference. I've spend about 20k at newegg over the last 5 years and I'm going to stay with newegg even more from now on.

I've been buying from newegg since 2001. I've made TONS of purchases since then. I've probably ordered a total of about $4000 worth of stuff from them. Pretty much all of my hardware purchases are from Newegg.

Unless there is ahuge price difference I'll definitely stick with Newegg. I've had 2 problems in about 5 years (neither their fault) and both were handled very well.

1. Fedex lost a parts order (delivered to a completely different address, box vanished), and newegg had a replacement order out the day I let them know. Fedex finally found the first shipment a couple of weeks later, and Newegg arranged for and paid for the pickup of the box.

2. I had to RMA a video card. it was still in the 90 day window so the RMA was handled by Newegg. They shipped out the replacement 2 days after receiving the card and sent it 2nd or 3rd day not the cheaper ground.

Pretty much the same here, although I just bought something through Micro Center instead because there was a such a big difference in price.

Micro Center had the 22" Acer WS LCD for $329, and Newegg has it for $395...
