When was the last time the Colts beat the Patriots? You're just as bad as the so-called "experts" who keep choosing the colts time after time. Only to see the Colts lose time after time. Have you watched Manning the first two games? He's been terrible so far. But oh no, they'll get right back on track! But when it comes to the Patriots losing a game, the world is crumbling. I'll take Brady over Manning any day of the week.

Back to the thread topic... is this Camden yards or Fenway Park? :p Hard to distinguish when 80% of the people in the stands are Red Sox fans.

QFT! Sox fans are the best!

And yet mysteriously, they have the #1 defense in the league right now, and are 2-0. Yes, of course Manning will get back on track, why wouldn't he? He is the best QB in the league. He had no sacks and no ints playing the vaunted Raven's defense. Meanwhile, the Patriots lost to the PANTHERS. You can keep being dillusional, but November 7, and then again in the playoffs, maybe you'll shut your mouth.

Against the Ravens, the worst offensive team in the league, and the somewhat decent Jaguars. Big friggin' deal. Let's see where that D is ranked at the midway point. The Patriots had a lot going against them in the Carolina game - They were away, and the Panthers were coming off a disappointing loss against the Saints. Not to mention they wanted revenge for their previous super bowl loss against the Pats. The Patriots had everything against them that game, and in the end, they only ended beating themselves with all the penalties and dropped balls. Don't forget that the Panthers are picked by a lot of people to make it to the Super Bowl this year.

And Peyton Manning is not the best QB in the league, that goes to Tom Brady, the 2-time Super Bowl MVP.
I wasn't aware that Peyton Manning played against the Ravens offense. I didn't say they won the game, because as you pointed out, that also hinged on the Ravens poor offense. What he DID do is exactly what I said - suffered no sacks and no ints against a defense consisting of Ed Reed, Chris MacAllister, Samuri Rolle, Terrell Suggs, and Ray Lewis. That's fairly impressive, if you ask me. Peyton Manning IS the best QB in the league, its chic to say he can't beat the Patriots, but you'll see. The Pats are not what they once were, plain and simple. Yes, the Panthers are the trendy NFC Superbowl pick. Just like the Seahawks were last year. Its groundless, they were a fairly good team with Jenkins, now that he's out for the season, they are a mediocore team. Think they are the class of the NFC though, it might make you feel better about the loss, but you'll see come playoff time.

Lucky basturd. my brother's friend was supposed to give me a ticket, but decided to take some people who couldn't give two craps about the game and don't even know the rules.

So, can Clement throw a strike, or does he just prefer throwing lots of balls and walking people? ;)

The Sox are over rated and I'm from Boston.

Oak-Town in where it's at. Some day I'm going to fly out to Oakland to see an A's game. I hear it's only 13 bucks a ticket for good seats too.

ok I've been a Yankee hater because I can't stand a lot of their fans because of threads like this... just because you're not a Yankee fan ... it doesn't make your kind immune either. The Bosox / Yankee threads suck. They should just play each other 162 times and get one side to shut up.

That was a pretty good game...I have no idea how Clement didn't allow any runs though. He was walking people right and left and couldn't seem to throw a strike to save his life. The play in the 8th where Papelban (sp?) struck out that batter, and Varitek threw the guy trying to steal out at 2nd to end the inning was awesome.

:)

You have to have some of the worst predictions i have ever seen.

Even with the massive ammount of injuries and loss of players the pats still came out as the winners.

And yet, I accurately predicted 11/14 games this weekend.

I'd say thats pretty good, especially early in the season when no one really knows how good many teams are.
