still not finalized

but... with the Dodgers out of the picture they might actually get this one done.

It just needs the comissioner's approval, so it basically is finalized

I hope Vasquez pulls a primadonna move and refuses to go to Arizona for a physical since it's far from Puerto Rico...

Vasquez is a good guy, leave him alone

I hope the yankees do get Johnson, and this is the year he physically breaks down...then when he and Jaret Wright break down we can listen to all the stankee fans cry about "if it weren't for the injuries"...also, I hope they bring Tino Martinez and his less than zero bat speed back.....

What is going to happen to Giambi?

Vasquez refused to go to L.A. to take a physical since L.A. was far from Puerto Rico. I'm only reiterating something that he's already said. Arizona is in the west as well.

I hope Johnson throws his shoulder in the pre-season. 😀

Not that I dislike him, I just hate the way the Yankees go about putting together a winning team.

All the randy johnson deal means is that the yankees have another 82" and $16 million to choke on when they don't win the series.

for some odd reason, almost all the "supposed" star pitchers that go to the yankees end up having bad seasons. for example, look at kevin brown, jose contreas, jeff weaver and now their latest victim, javier vasquez.
