Does anyone here practice this? It was kind of interesting! I think I will be going back as it is only $5 a lesson and really quite different from anything else I have come across.
Not like yoga, not like any form of karate so to speak but yet it is a form of martial art. I believe translated Tai Chi actually means "The Ultimate Martial Art" but perhaps better put "The Ultimate Martial Art of Yin and Yang".
I'm learning the short version consisting of 28 coordinated movements but there is a longer version with I believe 108 coordinated movements.
Suppose to help you lose weight, good for a variety of health issues, provides positive energy, live a longer life as well as several other benefits I am sure I don't know about.
They actually told me that if I am not feeling well (ie headache, stomach flu, whatever) not to practice Tai Chi as it can actually make you much sicker sense you would be circulating all that bad stuff throughout your entire body! :Q
