Just realized this about the 2 late games last night...

the San Antonion/Seattle game was in Seattle, which is on the West Coast (pacific time) and the Dallas/Phoenix game was in Dallas (central time)...

why on earth would you schedule the game in Seattle first if they were further west? especially since the games have been ending after midnight in Dallas?

while I am on the subject, why didn't they schedule the both games to start earlier to begin with anyway?

Sucks if you are an NBA fan on the East coast...guess you guys have a choice of sleep or watching a Western Conference playoff game...

/end of rant...

Because on the west coast that is a normal starting time when you adjust for time zones.

The Seattle game started at 4 pm local time (7 pm Eastern/6 pm Central)...

The Mavs/Phoenix game started at 9:45 pm Eastern (8:45 Central) which would have been 6:45 pm Pacific (seattle time)...

because they didnt want any games to overlap. the Pacers game was in the afternoon eastern time. (noon west coast)

that still doesn't explain why the seattle/san antonio game in Seattle was before the Dallas/Phoenix game which was in Dallas...
