Many moons ago, you used to be able to get a yard mower that one could sit on that was not a lawn tractor.

I can not find such things now at a Home Depot/Lowes/Wal Mart.

Looking to get one for my mother.

Lawn is to big for her to do with a normal push mower and she has no need for a lawn tractor.

Leads to such items would be appreciate. then I can figure out how to get it to Mickey Mouse in Florida.

True, they had those way back in the days when the mowers came around.

My Walmart and Lowes stores still sell them, but I think today they've gotten more advanced than before.

Have you considered self propelled push mowers? How big of a yard is it?

A good self propelled push mower is around $300. I know the Honda ones have an electric start so no pull cords needed either.

1/2 acre - with landscaped trees & shrubs.

It takes me about 3-4 hours when I mowed it. (10 yrs ago).

Father kept is mowed, but it wouild take him 2 days to get it done.

I spent a Sat earlier this month doing it for my mother; but a 12 hr drive one-way is to much to keep the place maintained at this point.
