YAMT: Gram Schmidt process question..

So this seems to be a pretty simple problem, just like the example in the book except for one thing..

V = P sub2 (R) with the inner product <f(x), g(x)> = integral(f(t)g(t)) from 0 to 1
S = {1, x, x^2} and h(x)= 1+x

The only thing I'm confused about is the h(x) part. What do I do with it??
