YAMT: ds3 or ip35?

So I decided to upgrade to a Q6600, but i can't decide which board to get.

I won't be overclocking insanely and game lightly. So i have a choice between the IP35 and the DS3.

-dont need RAID
-prefer to have a firewire header but its not a deal breaker
-passively cooled


also, will the arctic cool 7 or zalman 92mm flower fit both boards?

any help would be appreciated.

You'll need to mod the freezer if you go with IP35-E. Flower is okay. IP35-E is $71 AR @ MWAVE. Stick with JEDEC 1.8V DDR2 667 or 800 for best compatibility.

the 92 flower fits? hmmmm. That may work then.

don't think that you'll have a problem with a Freezer on the IP35 as it has a lower NB hs than on the IP35-E.
If you want onboard firewire (as opposed to PCI card) then IP35 or DS3P.
